Charles F. "Chuck" Puschel, age 57, of New Egypt passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2019 at home. Born in Red Bank, he lived in Union Beach before moving to New Egypt.
A veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Chuck was a Lineman for IBEW Local 456, New Brunswick. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Kathryn; his parents, Helen and Charles Puschel, Sr. of Whiting; his sons, Charles Puschel, III of Jackson and James Puschel of Texas; his step children, Samantha Acerra and Robert Acerra, both of Pennsylvania; his grandchildren, Donny, Mayah, Rylee and Kira.
A memorial gathering and service will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2019 from 3-8pm at Horizon Funeral and Cremation Services, 1329 Route 37 West, Toms River. Cremation was private.
In lieu of flowers, the family asked for donations in Chuck's memory be made to Popcorn Park Zoo, 1 Humane Way, Forked River, NJ 08731.
