Berniece Moss, 92, of Macedonia, died on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at the Risen Son Christian Village in Council Bluffs. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 3, 2019 at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Treynor with Pastor Chuck Meyer officiating. Burial will be at the Macedonia Cemetery in Macedonia. Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 2, 2019 at the Loess Hills Funeral Home in Carson.

Berniece Ann Miller, one of five children of Harry and Annie (Malskeit) Miller was born February 9, 1927 in Council Bluffs, IA. She received her education from a rural country school. Berniece married Harvey William Moss on September 3, 1949 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Council Bluffs. The couple made their home on the Moss family farm near Macedonia. The couple was blessed with three sons, Kenton, Kevin, and Jason.
Berniece was a member of St Paul Lutheran Church in Treynor.
Berniece was an avid reader, enjoyed playing various card games, going polka dancing with Harvey, but most of all loved being a mother and grandmother.
Berniece is preceded in death by her parents, son, Kevin; sisters, Gladys Ramm and Vera Hamann; brothers, Glen and Elton Miller.
Berniece is survived by her husband of 69 years, Harvey of Macedonia, sons, Dr. Kenton and wife Kathy Moss of Algona, IA; daughter-in-law Peggy Moss of Eagan, MN; Jason and wife Karen Moss of Council Bluffs, nine grandchildren; Lindsay (Nigel) Millard, Amber (Derek) Hemphill, Drew (Melanie) Moss, Cynthia (Cole) Kantos, Scott (Anna) Moss, Keith Moss, Kyle Moss, Austin Moss & Benjamin Moss. Eight great-grandchildren, other relatives and a host of many special friends.
