Alvin Lewis Steed
January 19, 1959 - May 31, 2019

Our loving brother, uncle, cousin and friend, Alvin Lewis Steed, 60, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 31, 2019 at the Rocky Mountain Care Center in Clearfield, Utah.
Alvin was born on January 19, 1959 in Pocatello, Idaho, a son of Gary Lee and Selma Michaelson Steed.
He graduated from Highland High School in Pocatello, Idaho and went to Idaho State University for a short time.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
During high school and college, Alvin worked at his father's business, Steed's Veri Kleen, after schooling he became a beekeeper at Bickley Honey Company in Plankington, South Dakota. He also had worked as a custodian at Intermountain Health Care.
Alvin loved fishing and hunting.
The family would like to thank the staff of Rocky Mountain Care Center in Clearfield for their loving care they took of Alvin.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donation be sent to Gillies Funeral Chapel, PO BOX 704, Brigham City, Utah 84302 to offset funeral expenses.
Surviving are six siblings, Debra S. (Steve) Bickley of South Weber, Utah; Brenda (Erik) Leasure of West Valley City, Utah; Lisa Steed of Coos Bay, Oregon; James Steed of Blackfoot, Idaho; Bradley Steed of Pocatello, Idaho, 3 step siblings, Christine Miller, Spencer (Diane) Miller, Jeff Miller, and one step mother, Leslee Steed of Pocatello, Idaho.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gary and Selma Steed, Grandparents, Fern and Arnold Steed and Frank and Vestle Michaelson.
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at the South Weber 3rd Ward Relief Society Room, 7989 South 2250 East.
