"I met this wonderful Man in 1997.He was a Lab Technician for Appleton Electric. Herb was always a very mild mannered Man but he did share his insights on life with me. He was my elder and he reported to me but since we were both Soldiers from different generations of the Army I valued his feelings emensly. Not sure how to conclude here other than he would discuss his family with me often and he always had that crooked smile on his grinning face when he did so. I was blessed to have met his "clan" Memorial Day weekend. Wonderful folks from Antigo. I will miss you my Brother at Arms. Just goodbye for now but not farewell. I will see you agian my friend."

"I have many wonderful memories of Uncle Herbie! More Christmas mornings than I can count, shenanigans on the back porch and the urban legend that he could blow smoke rings out of his ears! I know that he will missed dearly by you all. God Bless, Katie Neufeld "
