Randall Ray Moore
December 19, 1947 - June 5, 2019

Randall Ray Moore, 71, of New London, died Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at his home. He was born December 19, 1947 in Hillsboro, Illinois to Robert J. and Maggie Marie Higgins Moore. On August 1, 1981, he married Luella Baldwin at the New London Christian Church.
For more than 30 years he worked as a welder for J.I. Case Company. He was a graduate of Union (West Central) High School, Biggsville, Illinois; was of the Methodist faith; was a lifetime member of the VFW, a member of New London Country Club, Iowa Bowhunter's Association and NRA. He served in the Navy during the Viet Nam war aboard the USS Bonhomme Richard.
Besides his wife, he is survived by stepchildren, Tina M. (Gus) Gurevitch of Hayward, California; Mark A. Horn of Tuscon, AZ; Lorie A. (Robert) Sukovaty Simota of Grove City, MN; one sister, Rebecca J. (Melvin) Boughton of Oquawka, IL.; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by stepson, Donald R. Baldwin and brother Robbie Moore.
The funeral service for Mr. Moore will be 10:00 Tuesday at Elliott Chapel, New London with Rev. David Mixon officiating. The family will receive friends at the chapel beginning at 9:00 until the time of the service. At 1:00 PM there will a graveside service with military rites by the Henry County Honor Guard at the Oquawka Cemetery, Oquawka, Illinois.
