"I worked with Scotty back in the late 80's. I was 19 at the time, and I thought Scotty was simply the coolest cat in the alley. He turned me onto John Hiatt, Steve Earle, Van Morrison and even Dwight Yoakam. In so doing, Scott really helped me hone my own sensibilities as an artist, as well as my own political and socio-political philosophies. Not only was Scotty the coolest cat in the alley, he was that cat's pajamas, ascot as well his smoking jacket. The world will be a far less groovy place without his charm, wit and fiesty essence. "Scott found his peace with the Great-Out-Doors, his Higher Power, and it was a reciprocal love he shared with others frequently. As a trusted friend it is heartbreaking to loose him in this life. He had such a genuine loving kind presence, with a fantastic sense of humor, along with a spiritual ability and willingness to help others in recovery. Great memories of long conversations and growing in life with him. My sympathy to Donna, family and everyone who loved him."
