Funeral services for Mrs. Eva Jean Norris, age 84 of Livingston, will be conducted on Thursday, June 13th at 2 PM from the chapel of Livingston Funeral Home. Bro. Roger Walker will officiate. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery at Hardy's Chapel Road. The family will welcome friends on Wednesday evening from 5 to 9 PM.
Mrs. Norris passed from this life on Monday morning, June 10, 2019, from the Overton County Health and Rehab Center. She was born in Overton County on January 16, 1935, to the late Clyde and Velma Staggs Holman. She loved to be around her kids, grand-kids, and great grand-kids. She also loved to listen to gospel and country music.
Mrs. Eva Jean Norris leaves behind her son Randall Norris and wife Bernice of Rickman; daughter Yevette Walker and husband Billy of Livingston; grandchildren Sherry Norris, Stacey Norris, Dustin Walker and wife Katie, Devin Walker and wife Hannah, John Norris, and Tara Clark; great grandchildren Treston and Levi Walker, Haleigh, Christian, and Kendall Newberry, Alexis and Leah Smith, Brooklynn and Brailee Norris, and Jamison Clark; and sister Linda Bybee and husband Doak of Allons.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Norris was preceded in death by her husband John Gilbert Norris; sons Roger Norris and Patrick "Pat" Norris; brother Bobby Joe Holman; and sisters Juanita Poston, Ruth Burchett, Nell Hammock, and Louise Smith.
Pallbearers to serve are Billy Walker, Randall Norris, Dustin Walker, Devin Walker, John Norris, and Kendall Newberry.
