"Our memories of Doreen are many since Jon and Scotts friendship goes back to the 2nd grade. Doreen was always gracious, loving and caring. We were Austin High band parents together, too. Our paths didnt cross much after Doreen moved to Wimberley but we greeted each other like long lost sisters when we noticed each other at Barton Creek Mall a couple of years ago. Doreen was shopping with her beloved granddaughter. Facebook kept us more connected these past couple of years, too. We give thanks for Doreen! We are grateful to have known her through our sons friendship. Our hearts are all full to overflowing for Doreens family."

"Doreen was such a kind and loving soul! She was my employer at Bethany Lutheran. She believed in me and made me a lead Teacher, because of her I came closer to Christ and loved my job, loved going to work everyday! We sure did have stories of living up North and had a lot of laughs together. She was always so positive. I hated to see her Retire but only because I wouldn't see her smiling face everyday but I was so happy for her. She will be truly missed. My condolences to all of her family."
