"I am so saddened to read this news. I met Ethan just a few weeks ago after he and my friend got into a car accident on William Cannon. My husband ended up taking him home since both cars were essentially totaled and luckily, Ethan and Anne walked away. From the two short hours spent with him, I could tell he was a special person. God bless him and his family."

"Oh Ethan, I miss you more than my words could ever say. I have called your # a couple times to hear your voice & to talk to you. Ethan you were the Best best person to talk to in my life. You dear Ethan were an inspiration to me since I 1st met you 6 years ago. Noone has ever spoke to me as you did--you spoke right to my heart with such kindness. You were So respectful of others & cordial. Ethan I never once heard you criticize anyone--you were so very positive. What wonderful parents you have! You had wisdom beyond your years yet you had an old soul. You amazed me with your advice many times. I remember asking you years ago "Ether why do you like hangin out with me when I'm so much older?" To which you said "Because your fun & I like hangin out with you Cinder. I don't see an age difference. You're a cool cat know that?" Ethan you & I were so much alike & loved so many of the same things. Like the piano :). Now every time I look at my Piano, I think of you. I constantly think of you now walking with Jesus & try to imagine what questions you are asking Him. I remember our talks about Jesus & you were very inquisitive which was just another part of your inner beauty. I just don't understand why. This world with all it's ugliness needed you Ethan--We all needed you. I love ya buddy. Thank you for your friendship Ethan Childress, I was Blessed to be called your friend & I will NEVER forget you. You made a huge impact on so many lives. Say hello to Jesus for me please. I MISS YOU ETHER Your friend, Cindy Bear"
