"Grandpa Fritz, you were a man of honor, discipline, conviction and determination. You did not shy away from what you felt needed to be said or done. Your journey on this earth was marked with struggles, however, the journey is truly defined by all your accomplishments. Your story is a thread in the fabric that makes this nation so great. In times of so much social disturbance and change you were a beacon of morality. Your sense of duty was unparrelled and from my perspective you walked a straight and tight line unmatched by any other in my interactions and experiences on this world. I credit so much of who I am today to you Grandpa Fritz. You taught me how to turn a wrench, how to think critically, determination, right from wrong and how to be a man. Your teachings guide me everyday and I will pass them on. I am beyond honored to call you my grandad. I miss you already Grandpa Love, Matt"

"I first met Fritz in Vietnam 1970. One month later his tour was over and he departed. Eleven months later I was assigned to Whiteman Air Force Base. I walked into duty, to see a pleasing, familiar face, Fritz Dahlke was my supervisor. Over the next four years we became close. Fritz guided me thru hardships, trained & instructed me to higher levels. Through his experience, supervision, friendship, and spiritual knowledge, Fritz groomed me to stand tall and proud. We've continued to stay in touch thru out life. I was able to visit Fritz 3 weeks before he stepped into Heaven. Said, He just wanted to make it to his 80th birthday. My friend Fritz, conquered yet another task !!! To Louise and family my sincere condolences. We all know of his walk, and now his resting place. God Bless you all !! Love, Gene Jine"
