"Dear Kelli, Madison and all of Shaun's family, I just found out this afternoon of Shaun's passing, and it has saddened me deeply. I had stopped by and visited him last fall at the oil change business. We had a great visit and talked about the Bowie Bulldog Football days and caught up on ya'll! He was so proud of ya'll and beamed when he talked of his family. I enjoyed every day I was around Shaun at football practice and football games. His hard work, GREAT ATTITUDE, Big old Smile, humor and his team spirit were always fun to be around. I have burned into my memory when he blocked the field goal attempt against Judson, that should have won the game for us! However, the officials messed up the call and the game got away from us. Shaun is one of the young men that I had the honor to have coached, he became a friend of mine, and I will miss him dearly til we meet again. Please know that me and mine are praying for Shaun and ya'll, and thinking of him. Bulldogs forever! God Bless Shaun!!!!! Sincerely, Coach Terry Pittsford"
