Beloved son and brother, Sanders William Sissom, 32, passed away on Friday, September 11, 2015. Sanders was born on December 19, 1982 in Austin, Texas. He was raised in Austin and graduated from American YouthWorks in 2002. Sanders was loved and cherished by everyone who met him. He had a deep, kind and loving heart and a gentle, quiet spirit. Sanders found his passion in life and was proud to be growing his career in the glass blowing business. Sanders will be gravely missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his parents, Stephen and Betty Sissom of Austin, Texas; his sister, Megan Sissom of Austin, Texas. He is survived by many aunts and uncles, including Charles Michael Sissom of Austin, Texas; Suzanne Sissom Dennis (Richard) of Mount Dora, Florida; and Nancy Lehde (Ron) of Cedar Park, Texas. Now he has departed from this strange world a little ahead of me. That means nothing. People like us, who believe in physics, know that the distinction between past, present and future is only a stubbornly persistent illusion. Albert Einstein

"Sanders was a great guy, always making me laugh even when he tried to do his serious face but you could tell he wasn't really being serious. I remember one time he was at my grandparents house with Alex and I just hanging out, my grandpa comes outside and jokingly asks if anyone wants their head shaved... well Sanders says I DO! So my grandpa shaved his head right then and there! Then Sanders asked if he could keep his hair just in case he didn't like his head shaved! I couldn't believe he let my grandpa shave his head right then and there! I smile as I type this. Sanders will be missed but he will live on in our memories. I'm deeply sorry for the loss in the Sissom family, you are in my families prayers and we are here for any of you if you need to talk or just someone to cry with. Mitzi Candelas"

"Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this incredibly difficult time. When my mom's sister passed away, a dear friend shared this poem with her. It brought her comfort, and she wanted to share it with you. Sending all our love, the Pierce family. He Is Not Dead I cannot say, and I will not say That he is dead. He is just away. With a cheery smile, and a wave of the hand, He has wandered into an unknown land And left us dreaming how very fair It needs must be, since he lingers there. And youoh you, who the wildest yearn For an old-time step, and the glad return, Think of him faring on, as dear In the love of There as the love of Here. Think of him still as the same. I say, He is not deadhe is just away. ? James Whitcomb Riley"
