"My thoughts are with all of Dr. Flannagan's friends, family, and former students at this time. I was glad to know Dr. Flannagan. She was an incredible mentor to so many students....so great, in fact, that our nickname for her while we were in grad school was "the cheerleader". She never stopped encouraging her students, and somehow she knew when they needed it the most. I am grateful to have known her. Rest In Peace, Dr. Flannagan."
