It is with deep and heavy sadness that we announce the death of our dad James David (JD) Malone who passed at home Sunday morning September 21, 2014. James was born to James Arthur Malone and Winifred Frances Sivley Malone on June 12, 1922. He was 92 when he went to be with his Lord.JD was born in Bertram, Texas, but spent most of his life in Austin. He met and married the love of his life, Mary Jo Blackwell at the Camp Ben McCullough Reunion in Driftwood, TX. They were married for almost 70 years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jo, and his parents.He is survived by his daughter, Jimmye Jo Malone, son David and daughter-in-law Diane, and daughter Molly Denham and son-in-law Hayden. He is also survived by his grandchildren Darrin Ruiz, Tammi Casey and her husband Brent, Brian Malone and his wife Heather Nicole, Melanie Malone, Dena Madeley and her husband Marc, and Shawn Denham and his wife Gretchen. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren, Hanna Ruiz, Breydan and Peyton Madeley, and Alaina and Luke Denham. He is also survived by his niece Nancy Harrison and her husband Richard. His constant companion after our mother passed was their puppy Babe.The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, September 23, 2014, at Harrell Funeral Home, 4435 Frontier Trail, Austin, Texas.Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Wednesday, September, 24, 2014, at Kinney Avenue Christian Fellowship, 1801 Kinney Avenue, Austin, Texas with Dr. Ken Baldwin Officiating.
