"I had the honor of being in Scott and White Memorial Hospital School of Nursing with Joyce. At one point she was my roommate. I spent many nights in Marlin in Clara's home and what a good time we always had. She instilled great love and compassion in her children and Joyce certainly inherited those qualities.
