"Jim and I had the pleasure of working with Beth and Frank on the entertainment committe at Ben Hur Shrine Temple. Frank was a loving, caring man. He always had a smile and a thank you for our help. You could always count on a big hug and smile. He will be dearly missed. Our love and prayers go out to Beth and the whole Wawack family."

"Dear Wawak family, I was so sorry to hear of Frank's passing. I have many good memories of him: the trip to the coast for fresh seafood, flying to "Wacko, Texas" as he called it, playing at the Cap Rod Club, and the many evenings at the baseball park. I always looked up to him and he always put a smile on my face. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Trevor Peevey"

"Beth, Gary, Karen and Bobby. Words can't express the shock and sadness that we felt when we read the paper. Sharon, Brian, Jennifer and I had many memorable times with Frank,Beth and the family. Not only did we work together at SAO, we, along with the Peevey's, Smith's and Burrell's became lifelong friends. Trips to the Rod and Gun Club, Six Flags, flying to Port A for "fresh" seafood. Meeting, just by chance somewhere, Frank seemed to light up the entire room with his grin, and great stories. We will miss him forever. Our prayers are with you during this troubling time."

"I have very fond memories of Frank. Spending tons of time at the baseball park. The time that my family went up to Colorado for the weekend with the Wawak's. Frank loaded all of us up in the Winnebago and we were on our way. I remember very vividly that it was a very steep - scary road that we had to travel to get to the Ski Slopes. I believe it was my fathers birthday and my family tried skiing for the first time. He made sure we all had the skiing clothing that we needed. He also flew all of us to the coast one afternoon for the best seafood dinner I've ever had. It was the most fun I had flying, ever! I also remember watching the infamous UT/Arkansas rivalry game at their house. (Good old Southwest Conference) It was a loud evening and lots of fun!!! I will always remember how kind Frank was, to all of us kids!!! Frank was a very generous man with a spirit that attracted others to him!!! Smiles that would light up a room and hugs that were warm and genuine. He will be sorely missed!!! Beth, you and all of your children and grandchildren are in my prayers! God Bless each and every one of you! Jeanne Burrell Vanderhoof"
