"Aunt Winona was one of those Aunts you just can't forget! These are some of the things I remember: going to the store in Austin and she telling me I could have anything I wanted (of course within reason)! What a treat for a kid! I also purchased my very first ring from her and Uncle Alfred. It was a Dome ring, which I still have! I remember going to the ranch and fishing. I caught my biggest ever fish there. We went to the tank and she told to cast out and then we went and ate lunch. Went we came back to the tank, I had the biggest bass I have ever caught (except for the one I pushed Ron into the lake for because the bass popped the hook out of its mouth!) I don't remember what we did with the fish but Aunt Winona was just as thrilled about the big fish as I was! I also remember the Christmases we had at Grandma Fiedler's house and how Aunt Winona always brought us kids something. She always remembered family and ask about them. She was a kind women who thought of others first! She loved her family and she will always be missed. I know she is looking down upon us and smiling while she sits peacefully among the Angles and other family members. I hope this doesn't bring tears but smiles upon your faces as I don't think she would want us to cry, but to shout in joy that she has entered the HOUSE of the LORD! Hallelujah! God Bless!"

"Aunt Winona was one of the most fun relatives I have had. She was very kind and loving to everyone and it was very enjoyable just to be around her. I remember especially how wonderful she was to my grandmother who was her mother in law, her Christian faith which showed at all times and her genuine love for life. I had many very delightful visits in her home with my cousins, Avalon and Al, Jr. She now is enjoying God's gift of Eternal Life whic is promised to all believers. My sympathy to Avalon and Jr. at your loss, but rejoicing that your mother is now with her Savior."
