"Dear Teri, Your family does not know me but I worked with you at Domestic Relations years ago..at least twenty years ago. I remember when you began to start your family and left Domestic Relations, moving to Dripping Springs. I am so sorry about the loss of your husband. My son saved my newspapers during the week of November 20, 2006 while I was out of the state for Thanksgiving and I am just now reading them, so I just saw the death announcement. May the Lord keep you and your family and give you strength in this difficult time. I retired from Domestic Relations August 31, 2005 after 27 years. Blessings, Mary Wheeler"

"Terry, I was so saddened to hear about your loss. Steve was such a lifeforce to everyone around him. Our families felt so close when the children were little and Anthony & Meagan played soccer on the little team that Steve coached. Something he once said to me has always stayed with me over the years. Once when Meagan was bragging about her soccer skills I reprimanded her for it, & Steve took me to the side and said, don't worry about it, you can always curb a healthy self esteem, but it's very hard to build one up when they don't have one. It really left an impression on me and I felt he was great with the kids. You and your children remain in my prayers. God Bless You."

"Having worked with Steve at Dripping Springs High School, it became clear to all of us that Steve was such an out going, soft spoken, friendly, kind and such a likeable person. He always shared his feelings and thoughts about his family, especially his children. He always would stop and take the time to talk to everyone in his path. I had retired in 2001, so it was a true shock to have seen his obituary in the paper. Terri, I am so sorry to hear of your great loss, especially at this time of the year. My prayers and thoughts are with all of the Krupp family. God bless all of you----Carolyn"

"I was so sad to hear of Steve?s passing. I have thought about Steve many times over the years. The last time I saw Steve was at Chris?s college graduation. I had always meant to call Steve and drive over to Dripping Springs and drink a few beers with him. Steve was a great guy. I really enjoyed him and the way he like to talk about events and life. Life is so unclear and unfair at times, I know Steve was loved by many people; just add me to the list. I will keep Steve and the family in my prayers. I am sure Steve is looking down on all us with his big smile and warm heart, wishing us all the best, because that?s the way he was. May Jesus and the Holy Spirit watch over and bestow his grace on Terry and the children. God Bless you Fred & Vicki McDonald"

However, I could tell by our correspondence that he was a professional teacher who cared about his kids and that's what it is all about. My condolences to you. It is a loss to the whole community when a good teacher dies. Mike Rainbolt"
