"Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time."
Daniel Lee Dippel ended his brave battle with cancer in the early morning hours of November 3, 2005. He was fortunate to have his loving wife of 13 years, Michelle Rogers Dippel, by his side. He was 35 years old. Daniel loved life and lived with vigor and enthusiasm. His presence was immediately felt the moment he entered a room. You need only to spend a moment with him before noticing his twinkling eyes and mischievous grin. Spend more time with Daniel and you couldnt help but notice his big, soft heart. Daniel was fearless. He was not afraid of any challenge facing him as long as he had Michelle by his side. He was one of those friends you could call in the middle of the night, and never hear mention of it again. He enjoyed cooking, playing golf, and simply spending time with his friends and family. He could never resist a good game of Stick or a coconut pie. Most of all he enjoyed being a father to his precious 5-year old son Grayson Joseph Dippel who will forever share his father's mischievous grin and brave but tender heart.Daniel was a native Austinite born on April 6, 1970. He graduatedfrom Crockett High School in 1988. He attended Southwest Texas StateUniversity and the University of Texas where he studied archaeology. It was during his undergraduate work that he took his first international trip and he has spent most of his time planning more. His large circle of friends includes many childhood friends from Manchaca, Texas. Daniel's family was very proud to see him realize his dream of owning his own successful historic home restoration company, G. Joseph Restoration.
