Margery Evelyn Todden
October 10, 1931 - June 23, 2019

M. Evelyn Todden was born to Frank and Ida May Chamberlain on October 10, 1931 and passed away June 23, 2019 at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames, Iowa.
Evelyn attended country schools in Clarke County, Iowa. In 1967 she earned her G.E.D.
On June 8, 1948 she was united in marriage William Alfred (Al) Todden. A son, Dan and three daughters, Patti, Su and Marianne were born to them. She worked at Robinson's Department Store as the book keeper.She and Al enjoyed many years Square Dancing with the Do-sceolas. After retiring they spent winters in their RV camper in Florida, Arizona and Texas until he did not feel he was a safe driver to travel so far.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Al Todden, brother, Francis Chamberlain, and daughter Patti Todden.
Survivors include son, Dan & Theresa of Independence, MO; daughters, Su of Tampa, FL and Marianne of Ames, IA; grandsons Matt, Tony, Evan and Stefanie; grand-daughters Monica and Kristina; great-grandsons Arlen, Aiden and Levi , Alexander and great-granddaughter Jordan; brother in-law Rich & Karen Todden, six nephews; three nieces, Rachael Swanson and many, many friends.

An 11:00 a.m. graveside service will be held at Maple Hill Cemetery, Osceola, IA on Tuesday, July 9,2019

"Hi, so sorry not to have been there. would have come, but didn't know. Called her for her birthday and didn't get her phone. Found out on the computer. So very sorry. Doesn't seem like it was that long since we visited. She was a very special person and had a loving family. Have known her since back in their Ottumwa days. Our sympathies and prayers are with you.
