"Joe was a friend on and off the court to many of us. Joe was always willing to lend a helping hand whether it was with the lessons, at our functions, and even drying off the courts. We will miss the dinners we had with Joe, the barbecues, and Jeremy will miss going bowling with Joe. When Joe and I played together we always joked about his Jekyll and Hyde play on the court where he would make 5 fantastic shots followed by 5 atrocious shots. I guess to sum it up we are all going to miss Joe for the true friend he was to all of us. May our friend RIP "
