"Gary truly was one of the finest men I have known in my life. Growing up, listening to his stories of life, many influenced me and many choices I made. He was more of a brother than a cousin with my older brothers and it was a privilege to be in their company over the years. It will never be close to the same without him seated at our family poker games. His laugh was infectious. Although I'm sure it was there at times, but I never saw him angry, judgmental of others, just a kind spirit. A harder working man you will have great difficulty finding. It was very evident his love of family was a bottomless well. And finally, he is one of my heroes, someone I admired and respected. All of us will follow him, but few of us will leave a better legacy of family & love as did my cousin Gary..."
