"Hi my friend, yeah I know how your feelin. That Kind of ya want to drop a turd on his head. I could feel you were heading back soon and I couldn't be happier that we got to experience one more round with my first partner took the setup apprentice jobs on second shift if for no other reason than to remind me of that story, something about left laying on the ground in the rain...Some might think I had a brother like mark but they would be wrong and now I find myself in pretty much the same place entering my golden years having to disown not only my mother and two sisters but also all three of my kids, yeah all three. I thought I could get to Jess in time but nope. You can all go be your mini-moms but I won't be your mothers man puppy! Right my brother? Keep crowing and if I get a chance I'll pass on that handshake and trust me we're always here But it was a good thing ya left, did you have anything left. Just can't win for loosing It's conform or else I guess. I tried desperately to get help for my family at Optimea crisis place where I had to see the not-a-doc and they called in a harassment...WTF? There was someone there for my brother but it couldn't be me, and I'm glad I could be there for you. I know sometimes family is just too close trust me way too close yeah but apparently it doesn't matter what the hell you do right my friend f***'em all right. Peace love rock and roll my friend and yeah I think you did get me in the back of the head with that paddle sure that's what that dent is."

"I knew Mark from our days working on the railroad. We became acquainted when forced to move to Alliance Nebraska. We were friends from then on. We were work partners paired up to work on locomotives. Mark was 1 of the most intelligent machinists I knew. An expert on rebuilding locomotive mechanical systems. As a person he loved life, in some ways, too much. He was thoughtful, kind, funny, loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting, boating, good food, sports, and Oldsmobile Cutlass. He loved his family. Always talked about his mother, dad, brothers and sisters, with a respect and admiration. I respected him for that. That in itself told me where Mark came from. He loved his wife, he loved his children. He spoke of pride and deep concern about the quality of character his kids were showing . Loving them so much that he found it hard to find ways of letting them know. He didn't talk describing his feelings. He was in thought. You could se it on his face. Contemplating right wrong or indifferent. I know his life was troubled. He found what he thought was easier ways. He struggled as a result and it could develop into more personal hardships than he wanted. It was a side that has contributed more than any of us wanted for him. I will miss my friend until we meet again. I believe through our heavenly father and his unconditional love. Mark now has a place for peace and harmony. "
