Jasmine Pamela Gilling
March 2, 1936 - July 6, 2019

Jasmine Pamela Burton Gilling aka Ms. Pam, 83, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away on July 6th 2019.
The Celebration of Life Service will be held at 12pm on Saturday July 20th at Fred Hunter's Funeral Home. Kevin McGee will be officiating.
Ms. Pam was born in St. Catherine, Jamaica on March 2, 1936. She graduated from Mount Industry High School.
Ms. Pam was married to Cornelius Gilling; they were married 22 years before he went on to glory. She never remarried.
Ms. Pam worked as a home health-aid. She was well known for her work in the ministry, for being a fervent prayer warrior and for always helping others. She was a joy filled woman and spread love wherever she went. She loved to read her bible and pray for others. She was a researcher at heart and dug deeply into God's word to find answers to everyday questions. She knew all the answers were found there.

She enjoyed spending time with family and loved to be close to the ocean. Her happiest moments were when she was around her family. She was a dedicated foodie and enjoyed many different types of cuisine. Her favorite restaurant was Olive Garden.

She is survived by her sister Novelette Johnson, her children Sonia Marvena Grant, Arthur Leo Gilling, Sandra Anne Gilling, Samuel Christopher Gilling, her grandchildren: Lenworth Thompson, Errol Henry, Sacha Simpson, Dwight Grant, Samantha Baugh, Genovia Morgan, Dena Campbell, Mona El-Shahat, Caseyann Allen, Chandi Gilling, Stephan Gilling, Tremayne Gilling, Cimone Philpotts, Elijah Smith, Tristan Gilling, along with her nineteen great grandchildren, and a host of other loving family members and friends. She joins in heaven her husband Cornelius Gilling, her daughter Sherron El-Shahat, her siblings Oswald Lloyd, Pooks, Una Gordon, Cynthia Craig, and Rhona Powell.
