Mark Duane Bollinger
November 16, 1961 - July 13, 2019

Mark D. Bollinger, 57, of Maquoketa, Iowa, passed away suddenly on Saturday, July 13, 2019, at the Jackson County Regional Health Center in Maquoketa, Iowa.

Friends and family may gather in remembrance of Mark on Thursday, July 18, 2019, from 4 to 6 P.M. at Carson Celebration of Life Center in Maquoketa. Cremation rites have been accorded.

Mark Duane Bollinger was born on November 16, 1961 in Maquoketa, Iowa, to John M. "Jack" and Nellie (March) Bollinger. He attended Maquoketa schools and received his welding certificate from Northeast Iowa Community College in Peosta.

Mark had worked as a welder for many years. First at Clinton Engines in Maquoketa, and then at Bio-Technology in Mercer, Wisconsin for three years. For the past 29 years until present, he worked for T & J Manufacturing in Maquoketa.

Mark was a member of the National Rifle Association. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, boating, fishing, hunting and gardening.

Those left to honor his memory include his children, Katie Bollinger of Cedar Rapids, IA, Abby Gansen of Maquoketa, IA, and Johnathan Bollinger of Andrew, IA; 7 grandchildren; a brother, Jack (Debbie) Bollinger of Andrew, IA; a sister Carol Dion of Maquoketa, IA; and his girlfriend, Amy Hasken of Maquoketa, IA. He was preceded in death by his parents.
