Winifred Rowell, age 77, of the Pine Lake Park section of Manchester passed away on Monday, July 22, 2019 at home.
Born in Dublin, Ireland, she moved to England at age 16, where she lived until coming to the United States in 1976.
A homemaker, Mrs. Rowell enjoyed gardening and trips to Atlantic City, as well as spending time with her grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her parents, John and Mary (Kelly) Kinsella, and her siblings, Kay and Peter. She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Edward; her children, David Rowell and his wife Anne of Avon, Indiana, and Jane Euler and her husband Al of Manchester; her grandchildren, Megan, AJ and Kristopher Euler and Peter and John Rowell; and her siblings, Willy, Maureen, Rose, Carmel, Joan, John and Tony.
Cremation was private under the direction of Horizon Funeral and Cremation Services, 1329 Route 37 West, Toms River. A memorial gathering and celebration of Mrs. Rowell's life will be held on Thursday, July 25, 2019 from 4-6 pm at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital ( www.stjude.org ) would be appreciated.

"My Dear Aunt Wynn - you were the best aunt a nephew could want for. You all ways had a smile on your face and gave me the best aunty hugs - sometimes a little tight but hey I was only 10 and a half when you left UK.I remember coming over and hanging out with David and Jane - who was my bestie, and ironically getting me into lots of mischief :-) . I remember Uncle Eddie's ironman handshake and his stories and having so much fun with your family. I did get to see you quite a few times through the years and was always pleased that we would be seeing you. You aways made a point of showing me the little dog shaped stone that I gave you when you left for the US of A, quite often when I was trying to impress a new girlfriend or trying to look cool you would get the stone out and tell the story of being at the airport. At the time, I remember looking at you and you knew that you were embarrassing me but you just laughed. I love you for that it was a cool thing ..... and hey once the new girlfriend even told me how cute it was to be giving stones to my favourite aunty. Thank you for being a beautiful woman and a beautiful, kind, smiley aunt even with the rather tight hugs. We will miss you but your memory is in our hearts. Jeff aged 53 (and a 1/2) xox"
