Kathy Rennpferd
April 2, 1960 - July 25, 2019

Kathy Rennpferd, of Antigo, died Thursday, July 25, 2019, at The Bay at Eastview Medical and Rehabilitation Center. She was 59 years old. She was born on April 2, 1960, in Antigo, WI a daughter of the late Arthur and Mary (Clark) Rennpferd.

She was a graduate of Antigo High School class of 1978. She continued her education at the University of Wisconsin, Marathon and North Central Technical College, receiving her degree in 1981 as a computer programmer.

Kathy was a waitress at Country Kitchen in Antigo while completing her education. As a computer programmer she was employed at Western Mutual Insurance and Aetna both in Minnesota.

She enjoyed volunteering for Special Olympics, traveling, riding bike, swimming and music. Her hobbies included sewing, needle point, cross stitch, reading and growing African violets.

Survivors include four sisters, Fran (Tom Catullo) Rennpferd, Grayslake, Ill., Carol Schafer, Antigo, Jean Rennpferd, Antigo and Diane Rennpferd, Grayslake, Ill.; a brother-in-law, Charles Kirsch, Antigo; lifelong friend, Barb Stegelski, Antigo; seven nieces and nephews, Kari (Michael) Quist, Chicago, Ill., Chris (Cynthia) Kirsch, DePere, Katie Kirsch, Chicago, Ill., Troy (Danielle) Schafer, Antigo, Laura Schafer, Chicago, Ill., Aaron (Adriana) Catullo, Chicago, Ill. and Jackie (fiancé Dustin Olson) Catullo, Minneapolis, Minn.;

six great-nieces and nephews, Michaela and Khai Quist, Chicago, Ill., Christina Kirsch, DePere, August and Avalon Schafer, Antigo and Isabella Catullo, Chicago, Ill.;

uncle, George Clark, Pickerel; two aunts, Ardis Van Calligan and Midge Jeske both of Rapid City, South Dakota.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Mary Kirsch.

A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, July 29, 2019, at 11 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Pickerel with Rev. Dave Zimmerman officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, July 28 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home and Monday from 10 to 11 am at the church.

"I met Kathy when I was traveling with Diane Rennpferd a long time ago and was able to meet both of Diane's parents as well as other family members. Please know that Kathy is at peace in Gods' house with her mom and dad and sister. She will be forever missed but her body is well and without illness and she is watching over all of her family.
