" With a dash of holy water and a quick prayer Aunt Betty is on her way. From the beginning I can't recall an event she missed. At our wedding in Cedar Rapids aunt Betty and uncle Gerald presented the gifts. As our family grew, there's aunt Betty - baptisms, conformations and graduations for Max, Valerie and Dylan. Her selfless sacrifice demonstrated her love for so many. I'll miss her wink and smile - as she looks for a little "sugar" and a hug beyond measure. She shows us the way ! Roger and Laura Eller"

"We all loved Cousin Betty, my father Ken Medin's first cousin, and admired her for her unsurpassed strength, generosity and good humor. She took my mother Paula Medin to the grocery store every week without fail after my father died, but most of she offered her friendship and love, the most previous give of all. Rest in peace with Gerald, Rosemary Moeykens "
