Dillon Simpson, 23, of Glenwood, IA, passed away at his home on July 27, 2019. Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 1, 2019 at the Calvary Baptist Church in Glenwood. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the church. Loess Hills Funeral Home of Glenwood in charge of arrangements.

Dillon Michael Simpson, 23 of Glenwood, Iowa, passed away at his home on July 27th, 2019.
Dillon was born on August 15th, 1995 in Omaha, NE. He grew up in Glenwood, Iowa and graduated from Glenwood High School in 2014. Dillon attended technical school and was a City of Omaha apprentice plumber. He worked for Simpson Plumbing until mid-2019. He was recently employed by Eyman Plumbing and was looking forward to joining Plumbers Local Union 16 in Omaha.
Dillon was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church. He loved fishing, being outdoors, working on his car and motorcycle. His many talents included art, photography, music, painting and spending time creating and inventing. He loved his family and had an inquisitive and adventurous spirit.
Dillon was proceeded in death by his grandparents, Lawrence V. Simpson, Okey Jr. and Frances Fields, and great grandparents, Okey Sr. and Dillie Fields.
Dillon is survived by his father Dave (Kathy) Simpson, mother Lisa (Chris) Hearn; twin sister, Alexis Simpson, siblings, Katelyn and Christopher Hearn and best dog buddy, Hanz. Grandparents; Barbara J Simpson, John (Diane) Lemen, Thomas (Norma) Hearn, aunts and uncles; Sandy Lemen (Josh and Neely Ladd), Karen Lawton (Al), Noreen (Bryan) Hebda, Janet Rubin, Paul (Ed) Simpson, Carol (John) Ross; numerous cousins, extended relatives, and a host of loving friends. Dillon was loved by many and he will be truly missed.
