Helene Kotia Emilien

Helene Kotia Emilien, 61 years of age, passed on Monday July 29, 2019 at 2:55 at Jackson Memorial North. Helene was born May 1st, 1956 in Jacmel, Haiti. She was the oldest of four children. When she was 12 years of age, she was adopted by Myrtha Adesca-Denose the mother of (Michelet, Jonas, Mathana, Magdala, Larose and Myriam Denose). She learned the truth and got baptized as a Jehovah witness August 29, 1975. In 1981 her adoptive mother (Myrtha Adesca-Denose Brought her to the US. She was then married in 1985 and 2 children were born from this union David Emilien and Ronal Emilien . Helene was a loving and kindhearted woman, a devoted mother, sister and friend, always putting others first. To know her was to love her. Helen was extremely generous. As a single parent who was raising 2 children whom she dearly loved, she never complained at her difficult task. She worked hard to take care of her two sons and even brought 3 of her relatives to the US: her brother Miguel Jean Baptiste, her sister Sonia Jean Baptiste and her adoptive son, who is the son of her oldest sister (Lamercie) Herold Daniel Charles. She loves Jehovah her God. She loves preaching and teaching the bible to others. She enjoyed helping others until her health prevented her from participating in the ministry.
"Lene" will be missed by her Family and friends. She strongly believed in the resurrection hope and we believe that she will be resurrected (John 5:28, 29). We will see her in Paradise.
