Hahn Edwin Chester
May 19, 1945 - July 21, 2019

Chester "Chuck" Edwin Hahn of Norton Shores, MI passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 21, 2019; 8 months after being diagnosed with cancer. His family and friends, as well as his faith in God supported him in his struggle which gave him peace. /Eph. 5:14/
Chuck was born in Ft. Wayne, IN on May 19, 1945, a son of the late Gilbert and Sidonia (Werling) Hahn. He attended Antwerp Local School the class of 1963, was an army veteran, a tool and die machinist, a Reds and Tigers baseball fan (anything baseball, really), was an avid photographer, enjoyed old cars, birds and horse races, and he loved Lake Michigan.He was adventurous and fun, and was kind to everyone treating all like old friends. He was quite the conversationalist too with interests and knowledge on many topics.
He is survived by and will be missed very much by his four children and their families: Tammy (Michael) Trenda, Ed (Kim) Hahn, Andy (Cheryl) Hahn,Valerie Hahn and two step children: Zack Williams and Amberly Graves.
Also surviving is brother Kenneth (Jan) Hahn, Virginia (Bob) Schoenike, Kathy Gormely, sister-in-law Carol Hahn and several nieces and nephews.
Chuck was preceded in death by his parents, brother James Hahn, sister Ruth Savage and nephews Tony and Kevin Hahn.
The family would like to thank the VA, The American Cancer Society, all the medical professionals and friends aiding and caring for him especially in these last months.
A private family service was requested and will be at a later date.
