"Dear Diane and Al, I knew Pat as a CRNA and treasured her unending positive attitude at work. 23 years ago, she made a quilted sweater for my newborn son. It had a fire hydrant and Dalmatian on it because my husband is a fire fighter. I am working for both the visitation and funeral, but would have loved to give my condolences in person. Pat always made you feel good. She was an awesome CRNA and colleague. She taught a lot of folks in anesthesia and remained connected to us. She reminded me a lot of my godmother/aunt. So I always felt an attachment to Pat. She dearly loved you guys and would frequently talk about Diane and Al. She is dancing with Cheryl in heaven. God bless you!! Love, Marcia Belau"
"Dear Wick Family, I am so sorry to hear of Pat's passing. I knew Pat from when I was a student anesthetist and then as a CRNA at Mayo. I want to share two distinct memories of Pat. The first one was when she told me to remember how I feel like the day that I graduated from the Mayo Nurse Anesthesia program in 2005. The other was when she came to my house with Terry Egbers to deliver a quilt for my newborn daughter twelve years ago. Pat was one of the kindest and compassionate person I have ever met. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Minerva Johnson "

"Wick family: we are saddened to hear of Pat passing. However we all know she is at rest and no longer suffering. It is you, the family that are suffering and we offer our heartfelt thoughts and prayers to you all. Pat was an amazing woman, colleague, and friend and she will be greatly missed on this earth. We will definitely be contacting the school to donate in her name for the scholarship. What a great idea, and memorial! Our condolences to you all! John and Cherrie Ahle"
