Wayne Junior Crandall
February 17, 1934 - August 5, 2019

Wayne Junior Crandall, 85 of Wapello, formerly of rural Oquawka, died at 3:55 p.m. on Monday, August 5, 2019 at Wapello Specialty Care, where he was a resident.
Born February 17, 1934 in Lewistown, MO, he was the son of Audrey and Almina Crandall. He married Geneva M. Miller on January 9, 1954. She died July 3, 1991. He married Helen Wesely on July 31, 1992. She died February 13, 2019.
Wayne worked in appliance and heating/air conditioning maintenance for Brockway, Arnold's and Fox Appliance.
He was a past member of the Eagle's Lodge.
Survivors include one daughter, Deb (Ken) Chenoweth of Burlington; three grandchildren, Nicholas (Sara) Chenoweth, Diana Chenoweth both of Burlington, and Jamie Chenoweth of Milan, IL; six great-grandchildren, Brock, Noah, Dylan, Bradie, Carter, and Savanna; two step-sons, Terry (Lisa) Woodyard of Wapello, IA and Sean (David) Woodyard of Chicago, IL; and one brother, Donald Crandall of Stronghurst, IL.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wives, and one sister in infancy.
A private family graveside service will be held at a later date.
Visitation will be 6-8:00 p.m. Thursday, August 8th at Lunning Chapel, with the family present.
A memorial has been established.
