Teresa Ann Richard, age 51, of Austin Texas, passed away suddenly on August 7th, 2019 in her home. Teresa was born in Hico, Texas to Darlene and Buddy Thornton on January 25th, 1968.
Teresa was a purveyor of spirits for many years and spent the last five as a manager for Twin Liquors in Bee Cave. She was outgoing and friendly to everyone she met. She loved painting, live music, gardening, reading Stephen King, socializing with her many friends, and spending time with loved ones. Above all else, Teresa was an amazingly vibrant woman who dearly loved her children and lived her life with her glass filled to the brim.
Teresa is survived and will be dearly missed by her mother and father Darlene and Buddy Thornton of Chico Texas, her husband, Michael Richard of Spicewood Tx, son Trevor Richard of Lafayette Louisiana, daughter Zoë Richard of Austin Tx, sisters; Melinda Gillum of Spicewood Tx, Janay Thornton Oliver of Lakeside Tx, many cousins, nieces, nephews, beloved in-laws, extended family, and many more cherished friends.
A memorial service will be held at Harrell Funeral Home of South Austin on Monday, August 12th from 2pm-5pm.
