Guillermo A. Gomez
March 16, 1962 - August 13, 2019

Guillermo "Willy" Gomez, 57 years old, of Weston, Florida passed away on August 13, 2019.

The funeral service will be held on August 17, 2019 at Fred's Hunter's Funeral Home. Father Pedro Lleo will be officiating. Visitation will be held at 5:00 pm followed by a celebration of life service at 7:00 pm.

Guillermo was born in Miami on March 16, 1962. He was married to Fatima Ornelas on March 12, 1988; they were married 31 years.

Guillermo worked as the Director of Human Resources Information Systems Ultimate Software for 11 years.

Aside from work, Guillermo loved being outdoors, collecting stamps, growing succulents and orchids, and photography. He was an immensely caring human being. He will be remembered for his kind heart, sense of humor, and positive outlook on life.

Guillermo is survived by Fatima, Guido and Lorena, Isabel and Alejandro, Antonio and Marisa, Guillermo Jr., Cristina, Diego, Andrea, Andres, Guido Jr., Marcela, Thomas, Isabella, Maripaz, Mariluz, and Marisol and many other family and friends.

Guillermo is preceded in death by his parents, Guillermo Juan Gomez and Maria Isabel Perez de Gomez.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to Flamingo Gardens at 3750 S Flamingo, where he spent many Saturdays enjoying nature and taking pictures of the animals that call this sanctuary home. We also encourage donations to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation as it was always his hope that one day we find a cure for Type 1 Diabetes.

The family of Guillermo wishes to thank Ultimate Software for their unwavering support and outpouring of love for him. He was always proud to call himself an UltiPeep.
