Bruce Michael Ledbetter
April 27, 1952 - August 15, 2019

Funeral Services for Mr. Bruce Michael Ledbetter, age 67 of Conatser Lane, will be conducted 2 PM Monday, August 19, 2019, from the chapel of Livingston Funeral Home. Bro. Josh Nave and Bro. Phillip Buck will officiate. Burial will be in Copeland Cemetery off Conatser Lane. The family will welcome friends on Saturday evening from 4 until 9 PM and again on Sunday from 8 AM until 9 PM at Livingston Funeral Home.

Mr. Ledbetter passed from this life on Thursday evening, August 15, 2019, from the comfort of his own home. He was born in Overton County on April 27, 1952, to the late Elmo and Betty Wallace Ledbetter. Bruce enjoyed going fishing and ginseng hunting. He spent time woodworking and gardening, and he loved his family and being around them.

Mr. Ledbetter leaves behind wife Rita Ledbetter of Livingston; daughter Iris Leann Melton and husband Michael of Jamestown; sons Christopher Lee Ledbetter and wife Donna of Rickman and Alec Joe Ledbetter and wife Emilee of Livingston; grandchildren Issaiah Lucas Leon Ledbetter, Kaylee Lynn Ledbetter, Michael Austin Ledbetter, Dalton James Ledbetter, Caleb Alec Elijah Ledbetter, Savannah Victoria Barnes, Jordan Blake Melton, and River Layne Melton; great grandchildren Gunnar Joe Ledbetter and Waylon Austin Hooten; sister Rithia "Button" Winningham and husband Dwain of Livingston; half-sister Sue Bullock and husband Denny of Rickman; and special brothers, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Ledbetter was preceded in death by his sister Stella Brooks.

Pallbearers to serve are Jason Beaty, Mark Ledbetter, Dalton Ledbetter, Kaylee Ledbetter, Tylin Winningham, and Jordan Blake Melton. Honorary pallbearers are Bennie Huckeby, Michael Austin Ledbetter, Christopher Lee Ledbetter, Caleb Alec Elijah Ledbetter, Dewain Winningham, Dustin Winningham, Leon Ledbetter, James Bass, and Harold Smith.

"So so very sorry for your loss. My heart breaks for all of you. I have some good memories of him. But most of all I remember whenever he was around, his smile.. it was so contagious and that whenever he would look at Rita, the kids, or grandkids, there was always a light in his eyes.
