Funeral Services for Mrs. Glennis D. Walker, age 89 of Livingston, will be conducted 2 P.M. Wednesday, August 21, 2019, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home. Bro. Nolan Cantrell will officiate. Burial will be in Okolona Cemetery. The family will welcome friends on Tuesday evening from 4 until 10 P.M. at Speck Funeral Home.

Mrs. Walker passed from this life on Monday morning, August 19, 2019, from Livingston Regional Hospital. She was born in Overton County on May 24, 1930, to the late Bill and Elizabeth Cates Wilson. Glennis enjoyed quilting, canning, and cooking. She loved to spend time with her family , travelling, and going to Gospel singings.

Mrs. Walker leaves behind her daughter Genat Dixon of Rickman; son Rick Walker of Crossville; granddaughters Dianna Loftis, Heather White, Holly Cross, Samantha Green; great grandchildren Tara Loftis and Austin Loftis; special nieces Carolyn Walker, Mable Cantrell, Delanie Norment, Denise Smith, Sherry Humble, and Jewel Savage; and special nephew Mark Walker.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Walker was preceded in death by her late husband and father of her children Fonzo Walker; brothers Carvel Wilson, Andy Wilson, Ray Wilson, Harold Wilson, Clifford Wilson, and Hollis Wilson; sisters June Sandin, Glady Johnston, Clara Dean Wilson, and Reba Wilson; and son-in-law Clenton Dixon.

Pallbearers David Loftis, Zach Burgess, Mark Walker, Larry Walker, Gary Walker, and Roger Walker.
