Evelyn Eugenia Fairchild, age 86, the daughter of Edmond and Annie (Lagrone) Cotton, was born November 20, 1932 in Shuqualak, Mississippi. She passed away August 18, 2019 in Omaha, Nebraska.
Evelyn is survived by her children: Denise Jackson, Ronald J. Jackson (Lynn), Guyla R. Glover (Lloyd); grandchildren: DiVonica Kight, Lamesha T. Jackson, Delicia Foster; great-grandchildren: Sheldon Kight, Alanna Kight, Aryn Kight; sisters: Gladys V. Cotton, Gladys Downs; sister-in-law, Ora Fairchild; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Dennis E. Jackson; son, Dennis Jackson; second husband, Kinnie Fairchild; parents: Edmond and Annie Cotton; ten brothers and sisters.
SERVICES 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at Salem Baptist Church, 3131 Lake Street. Visitation 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Monday, August 26, 2019 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Burial at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
