Ellen L. Paxson, 92, of Marshalltown, IA, passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2019, at the Iowa River Hospice House in Marshalltown. Private services will be held at a later date in Arkansas where she will be laid to rest next to her husband. Anderson Funeral Homes in Marshalltown has been entrusted with arrangements. Ellen is survived by her children: Suzanne Thomas of Jacksonville, AR, Barb (Jim) Johnson of Marshalltown, Nancy (Dennis) Stratton of Baxter, IA, Kelly (Joanie) Paxson of Sherwood, AR; 14 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Paxson, son John Paxson, and five brothers.
