William "Bill" Pomasl
May 23, 1952 - August 22, 2019

William "Bill" Pomasl, of White Lake, died Thursday, August 22, 2019, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. He was 67 years old. He was born on May 23, 1952, in Antigo, a son of Leo and Ruth (Anderson) Pomasl. He married Barbara Troemel on July 28, 1984, in White Lake.

He graduated from White Lake High School in 1970.

Bill served in the United States Navy as a Medic in the early 1970's. Following his military service he worked at Diercks Potato Farm in White Lake, followed by driving truck for Yawkey Bissell in White Lake and driving and dispatching for WH Transportation out of Wausau. For 17 years he was a self employed truck broker working with Jedan Logistics and retired in 2009.

His hobbies included hunting, fishing, vegetable and flower gardening, following the Green Bay Packers and reading all things NFL. He will be greatly missed by his four legged and spoiled friend Sasha.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara and a daughter, Stacy (Richard) Klement of White Lake; two sons, Chris (Mary) Pomasl of Antigo, Jason Pomasl of Kaukauna; five grandchildren Rachel (Adam) Brickner, Carlie (Zack) Nickolai, Kiana (Aaron) Robertson, Avery Pomasl, Justin Pomasl; four great-grandchildren Annabelle, Evelyn, Eli, Scarlett; two brothers, Patrick (Patti) Pomasl of Antigo, Daniel (Joann) Pomasl of Antigo; two sister-in-laws Mary Lou Pomasl of White Lake, Julia Pomasl of Oshkosh.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Ruth Pomasl, a sister, Carol Shannon; four brothers Michael, John, Timothy and Thomas (in infancy); a sister-in-law Lenore Pomasl and his brother-in-law, Andrew Shannon.

Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, August 27, 2019, with a memorial service at 6 p.m. at Bradley Funeral Home. Burial will take place following the service in St. Joseph Cemetery in Elton.

Please come in your favorite Packer attire!

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Langlade County Humane Society 2204 Clermont Street Antigo, WI 54409.
