Kathy Ann Bowman

Mrs. Kathy Ann Bowman, age 58, passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2017. She was born in Muskegon, Michigan on July 18, 1958 to Ervin & Irene (Porter) Johnson and married Ray Bowman on September 17, 1977. Mrs. Bowman had been employed as a nurse in various nursing homes in South Haven. "Crafty Kathy" as she has been called, was a Garth Brooks fan who enjoyed crafting, antiques and music. She will be greatly missed.

Husband of 40 years, Ray; sons, Benjamin (Jamie) Bowman, Jason (Melissa Conley) Bowman; grandchildren, Katelynn Bowman, Benjamin Bowman Jr., Jaden Bowman, Jayla Bowman, Madelinn Bowman & Wyatt Bowman; siblings, Judy (Wayne) Baker, Johnny (Chris) Johnson, Patricia (Tom) Smith; half brother, Ricky Johnson; brother-in-law, Chris (Tonya) Bowman; best friend, Carol (Duane) Rowlson; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews cousins & friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ervin Johnson & Irene Schlaack and in-laws, Ray & Elaine Bowman.

GRAVESIDE SERVICE

Friday, May 5, 2017, 1:00 pm at Egelston Township Cemetery with Rev. Ken Shady officiating. Interment in Egelston Township Cemetery. MEMORIAL: Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
