Nancy Goodman
July 9, 1934 - April 10, 2011

Nancy R. Goodman, of Antigo, died Sunday, April 10, 2011 with her family by her side. She was 76 years old. She was born on July 9, 1934 in Antigo a daughter of the late Roy and Rose (Kryka) McDougal. She married Richard Goodman on May 3, 1958 at St. John Catholic Church, Antigo. He preceded her in death on May 10, 2008.

She was a graduate of Antigo High School and a member of St. John Catholic Church, Antigo. She resided at Evergreen Terrace in Antigo.
For 33 years she volunteered at the hospital, for the Red Cross and blood bank.

She was an avid bowler and a past president of the Antigo Bowling Association. She enjoyed knitting, embroidering, playing cards, bingo and spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include a daughter, Kathy (Ron) Raith, Summit Lake; two granddaughters, Lindsay (Jon) Joerns, Antigo and Makayla Raith, Summit Lake; a great-granddaughter, Ellee Joerns; a sister, Patsy Rettinger, Bryant; four sisters-in-law, Shirley McDougal, Antigo, Karen McDougal, Antigo, Mickey McDougal, Deerbrook and Mary (John) Ruppenthal, Oshkosh; other relatives and friends.

In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by three brothers, Hubert, Manus and Jack McDougal; and a brother-in-law, Norman Rettinger.

A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. at St. John Catholic Church with Rev. Charles Hoffmann officiating. Burial will take place in Queen of Peace Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass at the church.
