Paul S. Vanderwerf, 78, long time resident of Muskegon, passed away July 28, 2007, after a short illness in Scottsdale, AZ, his home for the past 11 years. Mourning his passing are his wife of 56 years, Ann (McDonald); children, Peggy Dudzinski (Richard) of Sugar Land, TX and Daniel (Candace) of Grand Rapids; grandsons, Kyle and Drew Dudzinski; and sisters-in-law, Donna Froncek of Muskegon and Dorothy Vanderwerf of Glen Rock, NJ. Preceding him in his new life were his parents, Hilbert and Hattie; sister, Lois McArthur; and brother, Nathan. Paul will be missed by his family including many nieces and nephews; his many business associates and friends including those from the Muskegon Country Club and the Masonic Lodge in Columbiana, OH. According to his wishes there will be no funeral, but a Memorial Service in Muskegon will be announced at a future date. Donations would be welcomed for the Mayo Clinic for cancer research at 13400 E. Shea Blvd., Phoenix, AZ 85072-2557.
