Glen E. Lipka
December 2, 1928 - November 2, 2006

Mr. Lipka, age 77, died November 2, 2006. Born December 2, 1928 in Muskegon to Marvin Sr. and Mayme (Deyman) Lipka, he had dlived in the White Lake area all his life. On May 28, 1948, in Benton Harbor, he married the former Susannah Roberts, who preceded him in death June 13, 2005 and had been a registered pharmacist, owning and operating Lipka's Drug Store in Montague. A graduate of Ferris State University with a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree, he had served many years as a Trustee for Montague Township, was active on the township inspection District Board, the Solid Waste Committee, and the Fire District Board. Mr. Lipka served on the Montague City Downtown Development Authority, served on the White Lake Senior Center Board, was a White Lake Little League sponsor, was an organizer of White Lake Pumpkinfest, and was a member of the Montague-Whitehall Rotary Club. He loved Montague and served his community and its residents well for many years. Mr. Lipka was a life member of Montague-Whitehall Lodge #198 F FAMILY: 1 son, Michael (Cathy) Lipka; 1 daughter, Patti (Paul) lived Ream; grandchildren, Will (Taylor) Lipka, Luke (Marie) Hakken, and Jessica Hakken; great-grandchildren, Lex Lipka and Rain Hakken; 1 brother, Marvin Lipka, Jr.; and a brother-in-law, Ronald Lundquist. SERVICE: Saturday, November 11, 2006, 1pm, from Clock Chapel-Whitehall, with Mr. Henry Roesler officiating. Interment will be made in Oakgrove Cemetery-Montague.
