Lloyd J. Schaub
April 14, 1922 - October 28, 2006

Mr. Lloyd J. Schaub, age 84, passed away Saturday, October 28, 2006 at his home. He was born April 14, 1922 to Edward E. and Selina (Plamondon) Schaub in Suttons Bay and lived in the Muskegon area for several years. He was a W.W.II U.S. Army Veteran and had worked at Teledyne Continental Motors before retiring. He was a member of St. Francis deSales Catholic Church and was active at the McGraft Senior's Center. Lloyd enjoyed meeting his friends in the afternoon at McDonalds on Sherman Blvd. On September 15, 1945 he married Helen Jane Videtich and she preceded him in death on December 24, 1991. SURVIVORS include 5 children, Barbara (Gene) Greenwood of Muskegon, Mary (Steven) Boxer of N. Muskegon, Frank Schaub of Chesterfield Twp., MI, Ronald (Brenda) Schaub of Kentwood, Louis (Cleda) Schaub of Roosevelt Park; 7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren; special friend, Ada Pulsipher; special neighbor, Ruth Ruby; 3 brothers, Robert (Josephine) Schaub of WA, Leonard (Margaret) Schaub of N. Muskegon, Fredrick (Helena) Schaub of Muskegon. He was also preceded in death by his parents, 3 sisters, and 6 brothers. THE MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be celebrated at 2:00 PM Thursday at St. Francis deSales Catholic Church, Marian Chapel. Burial will take place at St. Mary's Cemetery. VISITATION at The Walburn Chapel Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 1547 W. Sherman Blvd. (231) 759-8565 will be from 6-8 PM Wednesday.
