Glen W. Kamhout
July 3, 1924 - October 2, 2006

Mr. Glen W. Kamhout, age 82, passed away unexpectedly October 2, 2006. He was born July 3, 1924 in Montague to Leonard and Mamie (Mahoney) Kamhout. He married the former Margaret E. Dean at Laketon Bethel Reformed Church on June 30, 1946, where he was also a member. He served in the Merchant Marine during W.W.II, and was formerly a member of the Muskegon Moose Lodge. Mr. Kamhout was employed at N Cartage until retiring in 1986. SURVIVORS: his wife, Margaret; 3 sons, Chase J. (Debbie) Kamhout of Spring Lake, Dean C. Kamhout of North Muskegon and Scott R. Kamhout of Boise, ID; 3 daughters, Joan E. (John) Rumohr, Lynn L. (Ronald) Nuttall and Prudence F. (Bruce) Moore all of North Muskegon; 1 sister, Helen (Elden) Taylor of Wolf Lake; 13 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. The FUNERAL SERVICE will be held Friday 11 A.M. at Laketon Bethel Reformed Church with Dr. Sherwin Branston presiding. INTERMENT: Laketon Township Cemetery. VISITATION: Thursday 6-8 P.M. at the Lee Funeral Home.
