Mr. James Perry Vulgaris, age 55, died Thursday, April 21, 2005. He was born in Muskegon on September 7, 1949 to Chris & Helen Anton Vulgaris. Mr. Vulgaris had served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era. He had been employed as a machinist at Screw Machine Specialties of Grand Haven for 19 years and was a member of Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church. Jim was a quiet man who loved nature. He was a serious birder, an accomplished amateur photographer, and he spent many nights examining the skies through his telescope. He was loved by his family and will be greatly missed.

Mother, Helen Vulgaris of Muskegon; sister, Matina Peter Ross of Columbus, OH; nieces, Laura John Wright, Bethany Ross Scott Taylor, Mikaela Zsolt Szollosi; nephews, Anthony Vulgaris, John Vulgaris, Chris Pat Vulgaris, Jacob Vulgaris, Chris Wright, Brandon Wright. He was preceded in death by his father, Chris Vulgaris; brother, Gus Vulgaris; sister, Diane Vulgaris.
SERVICE
Monday, April 25, 2005, 11:00 AM at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church with Fr. Jim Bogdan & Fr. Peter Bistolarides officiating. Interment at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
VISITATION
Monday, 1 hour prior to the service at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church.
