Mr. Chris T. Anton, an honest and humble man of faith, died peacefully at home surrounded by his family Monday, February 14, 2005. He was born in Fruitport, Michigan on August 25, 1918 to Theodore Chris and Athanasia Sarantakis Antonopulos and married the former Marian Elizabeth Buenger in 1951. During WWII he served his country in the US Army. Mr. Anton was the Chairman/CEO and a founder of Newkirk Electric Associates where he worked as an electrical contractor for 43 years. He was a member of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox

Church, the National Electrical Contractors Association and the Spring Lake Country Club. His compassion for those less fortunate was a guiding force in his life. He was a devoted patron of his church, the arts, and several community charities.

SURVIVORS

Mr. Anton is survived by his six children and their spouses, and his 12 grandchildren. He will always be remembered by his children as a generous, loving, strong and dedicated father, and by his grandchildren as the World's Greatest Papouli.

Sons: Ted Francine Anton of Spring Lake, James Sandy Anton of Muskegon, and Thomas Lanette Anton of Fruitport. Daughters: Christine Darryl Coburn of St. Charles, IL, Janis Mark Rader of Glencoe, IL, and Mary Stephen Carter of Hinsdale, IL. Grandchildren, Joshua Anton, Nicholas Anton, Leah Anton, Alex Keefe, Michael Anton Rader, Christopher Anton, Johnathon Anton, Jennifer Anton, Sarah Anton, Elaine Carter, Audrey Carter, and Nathan Anton. Three sisters: Angeline Metropulos of Uniontown, PA, Marianne Sampanes of

Grand Rapids, and Lillian Reelman of Muskegon. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marian Elizabeth on December 16, 1980, brother, Charles Andrews and by two sisters, Anna Ballas & Magdalene Sarantakis.

SERVICE

Thursday, February 17, 2005, 11:00 AM at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church with Father Evanglos Pepps officiating.

VISITATION

Wednesday, 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Clock Funeral Home with a Trisagion Service at 7:30 PM. MEMORIAL: Those wishing to make a more lasting memorial may do so to the Annunciation
