Mrs. Melvina B. Scouten, age 96, died Thursday, November 1, 2001. She was born in Muskegon, MI on March 21, 1905 to William & Minnie Medema Borgerding. She married Floyd Scouten in Muskegon, MI on July 17, 1939 & was a homemaker. Mrs. Scouten was a member of Central United Methodist Church, the Mary Martha Circle, U.M.W., the Womens Club & the Cecilian Club.
SURVIVORS
1 son, David Peggy Scouten of Muskegon; 2 step-daughters, Arlene Elder of CA & Maxine Tim Shannon of NC; 16 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd in 1980 & by a son, Donald.
SERVICE
Services for Mrs. Scouten will be held at a later date. Interment at Restlawn Cemetery.
