Mr. David L. Rice, age 68, died Monday, September 17, 2001. He was born in Grand Haven, MI on September 5, 1933 to William & Elfreida Rice & married the former Shirley Harris in Grand Haven, MI in August of 1967. Mr. Rice had been employed as a Punch Press Operator at Sam Garvin Co. prior to retiring in 1975. He enjoyed fishing, cooking & traveling in his motorhome.
SURVIVORS
Wife, Shirley; 3 sons, Chuck Rice of MO, Rick Lewis of West Olive & Patrick Ruth Lewis of Grand Haven; 2 daughters, Cheryl Rice & Sheri David Paynter of West Olive; 2 grandchildren, Sara & Stacy; 1 great granddaughter, Mya. He was preceded in death by his parents & by a son, Michael Lewis in 1974.
